Haley & Luiz’s campground elopement in Olympic National Park was a blast! It felt less like coordinating an elopement and more like spending the day with good friends!
Like so many people, Haley & Luiz planned a big celebration back home in Florida but with the pandemic, they decided to celebrate on their own. They had never been to the PNW but Haley’s grandma is from Seattle so they decided to come to Washington for their elopement. They chose to elope in Olympic National Park–In the spring, there is no better place! It’s stunning rain, shine, everything in between!
Haley & Luiz’s priorities were beautiful photos (so they hired Mollie of Between the Pine, duh) and a fun picnic with charcuterie, cake and craft cocktails!
We designed their picnic around a beautiful elopement announcement they previously had made! This design was a bit of a challenge for me because I don’t usually lean toward pastels. However, in the process, I absolutely fell in love with the palette and it became one of my favorite setups of the year! Maybe ever! The colors popped so well against the surrounding old growth forest!!
Mollie took Haley & Luiz to Lake Crescent and Marymere Falls while we set up their picnic at the campground that we and Mollie were staying at. When they arrived, we greeted them with specially requested cocktails that Ryan whipped up in our mobile kitchen (aka our RV)!
Post-picnic, we moved to the fire for s’mores and ended up hanging out with Haley & Luiz for hours! We don’t get to meet most of our elopement couples until their wedding day so it’s always nice when we get the chance to know them a little better in person! Such an honor when a couple wants to include us in their celebrate, especially when it’s just the two of them! Almost a year later, Ryan and I talk about how much we loved this elopement!!
