I do a very limited number of styled shoots every year but when Dawn Photo asks you to team up, you don’t say no!
Dawn was set on TreeHouse Point (an iconic PNW venue) but gave me free rein on pretty much everything else. I knew I wanted to take last year’s insanely popular boho trend and put a modern twist on it.
I had been eyeing a mustard yellow suit from The Black Tux that we ended up building the color palette around. Black and white elements made the design feel sleek, while pops of coral and yellow kept it fresh and interesting against the forested, neutral backdrop.
The only specific floral piece I requested was a floral veil! I left it up to Rusted Vase Floral Co.’s, imagination and she nailed it!
Sift and Gather baked individual mini cakes for both place settings–We don’t always believe “What’s mine is yours”, especially when it comes to dessert!
Such a fun day, collaborating with some of the best in the business!
