Mount Baker, in the North Cascades, is one of our favorite areas for intimate weddings and there are a number of incredible locations that are accessible when you have family tagging along! From the beginning, there were a few things Jackie & Marshall knew they wanted to include in their wedding day–A stunning backdrop, their close family and ice cream sandwiches from Washington State University’s creamery!
Jackie got ready with her sisters and met Marshall for a woodsy first look before joining up with the rest of the family for a pre-ceremony lunch! The group gathered at a gorgeous family-owned log cabin for drinks and apps. Jackie and Marshall looked amazing (Of course!) but it was their cutie grandparents that had us–Jackie’s grandma took over photography and Marshall’s grandpa was FaceTimed in to give the sweetest blessing before lunch! The day was full of these personal moments!
After lunch on the balcony, everyone headed up the mountain for ceremony! Jackie & Marshall exchanged vows in an alpine meadow, overlooking Bagley Lakes, at one of the best intimate wedding locations in all of Washington! (Good for groups of ~10 people + it’s wheel chair accessible!) As a fellow WSU alum, Ryan officiated a heartfelt ceremony and Jackie & Marshall sealed the deal with a fist bump–The same way they awkwardly ended their first date!
Somehow, Jackie & Marshall managed to get ice cream sandwiches from Pullman, WA to Mount Baker (an 8 hour trip)! So worth it!! They shared a final dessert and champagne toast with their family before parting ways.
Jackie & Marshall spent the rest of the evening exploring Artist Point–A place that never looks the same, even though we’ve been there a million times!! The sunlight that day was insane (It changed by the minute!) and they soaked up every last bit of it! We love love loved working with these two! #GOCOUGS
